The incentive, stated plainly
Use the code on this site and two things happen: you get US$5 in Roamless credit, and so does the account holder behind this site. Roamless pays both sides the same amount.
That is the whole model. No advertising, no sponsored placement, no affiliate network, no payment from Roamless.
What it does not buy
It does not buy a recommendation. The referral pays a flat US$5 whatever you spend, so there is no reason for us to push a larger top-up — and we tell you outright that above about US$25 a percentage promo beats our referral, even though you cannot use both.
It does not buy a bigger number. Some sites in this space advertise inflated amounts to look more attractive than the real offer. US$5 is what Roamless pays. If that changes, the change gets a dated row on how we verify.
It does not make us Roamless. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roamless. Anything on this site is our reading of their published documentation, with the date we read it.
Why disclose at all
Because the alternative makes everything else here worthless. This site’s only claim is that its numbers are true and dated. A site with an undisclosed incentive has no way to make that claim credibly — so the incentive goes at the top, not in a footer.
Frequently asked questions
Do you get paid more if I spend more?
No. The referral pays a flat US$5 regardless of how much you top up, which is why there is no incentive here to push you toward a bigger purchase. On large top-ups we tell you a percentage promo is worth more than our referral — see promo or referral.
Does Roamless pay you to write this?
No. There is no sponsorship, no affiliate contract and no relationship with Roamless at all beyond being a customer who has a referral code, like any other customer.
Would you tell me not to use your code?
We already do. If you are topping up more than about US$25 and hold a 20% promo, the promo is worth more to you than our referral — and Roamless will not let you use both.
